I just saw this segment this afternoon: http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?play=1&video=1430554508. This is addressing Sen Schumer's efforts to halt stimulus money going overseas, but the larger issue is a broad misunderstanding of the role "foreign" energy companies play in the U.S. labor market. This segment is frustrating, but it shows that there's a relatively low bar for becoming a thought leader on this topic. The spokeswoman from the AWEA could be better, but it would be more educational to have a real investor talk about the impact "foreign energy companies" (Iberdrola) can have on American jobs.
