Just a few items before the break: 1. Rainedout.com: All rowers should sign up for the text message service so that they can be notified of any last minute changes in practice or race schedules. Parents, you are welcome to sign up as well if you would like to receive the notifications. Instructions for signing up are attached to this email. 2. Team Snap: Rowers and parents who are new to the team this year were recently sent an invitation to join the Team Snap website. Please respond to this invitation if you haven't already. It contains regatta directions and schedules and will soon include volunteer assignments for food and regatta coverage------and some great photos! If you have trouble accessing the site, let us know. (www.teamsnap.com ) 3. Stotesbury: a. A block of rooms has been reserved for the team and family members at the Comfort Inn Historic District in Philadelphia (same as last year). Reservations will be made by the team for the rowers and coaches. Families are responsible for making their own reservations. In order to get the negotiated rate of $124/night, parents should call the hotel directly at 215-627-7900. The room block is listed under ""Sidwell Friends Parents." The rowers will go to Philadelphia on Thursday May 13 and return Saturday May 15. Some parents stay both Thursday and Friday nights while others drive up early on Friday. There is a fun team dinner that includes families on Friday night. This hotel information will be posted to the Team Snap website. b. Thanks to the parents who volunteered to help Olwen Pongrace with the logistics for the trip. She could use a few more volunteers and especially needs two parents willing to drive to pick up the rental vans sometime on Wednesday May 12 and return them on Saturday. These drivers do not need to be attending Stotesbury. 4. March 27 Regatta: We will have details on next week's regatta when the rowers return for spring break practice. Check your emails prior to Saturday as directions to the boathouse and the viewing area are a little tricky. 5. Roster: There have been a few corrections to the roster.
