Hunt, I both genuinely appreciate and am in violent agreement with everything you've stated below. And I can honestly say I would give up my left nut for you. (In fact, I asked the surgeon today if...)

Kidding aside, it's very evident we're at a run-rate, of us two collectively creating 90% of the equity value in this business right now (for our business and our business's legacy, extensions, partnerships, services). That's un-sustainable but I'm confident our vision and mission are adequate for the time being--and we now need to do the level set and re-establish some immediate and near term goals and objectives--and establish fresh time lines around those. We have a sufficient threshold of general direction and enough batters in the dug out to execute at this point, we just have to be more focused.

And to pick up on the LR / TA / Matador path we need to evolve the strategy and approach with them. I had a lengthy and direct conversation with LR last night, that wasn't pleasant, essentially voicing our collective concern (on my drive back on 78 at 11pm) on the velocity of the matador transaction. We need to pick up on inserting ourselves in the conversation with Pedro and/or the CEO at IBR. I have some ideas, but us two need to sync up tomorrow, and hash it out b/c I can't take anymore of this Pedro said this and that bs. That said, we can't lose sight of the fact, in our frustration with Lorenzo, that this is a homerun transaction of a generation if we get this done with IBR (though my confidence meter in his closing ability is dipping.)

That all doesn't change the fact that we also need to have the rest of our team focused on executing singles and doubles which needs to be happening in parallel and somewhat independently.

Let's discuss. I'm feeling slightly better this evening though I wouldn't wish the procedure on an enemy.

And again, I really appreciate the confidence b/c 1. Its reciprocal and 2. I really think we will build something significant together.

Are you doing buddy. Feel like you and I are getting the hell beat out of us literally and figuratively. Couple things to keep in mind while you are sedated:
1. All real relationships are by virtue of your hard work.
2. Those relationships are the key to us making this work.
3. Without you doing the leg work...flying from Beijing to Little Rock to East Bum-Fuck- this would all be pointless.
4. We are more than the sum of our supposed parts- but far more important than any particar part- i.e. CH, LR, AN etc...
5. I've met a lot of people (potential business partners) in the last few years and the only one I can for certain say I would jump off a bridge for (otjer than Eric) is you.

That being said- Lorenzo has no clue what he is doing. He gives Ibredrola bad advice and hewre we are 4 months after I went to Madrid to "close the deal" with no final offering. We run the show and Pedro should know that- so let's make LR aware that we don't plan to continue to hold our dicks in our hand while he does whatever it is he is doing.
