Let me know if you want me to talk to Lorenzo about this or you want to do it this weekend or Monday (he's in DC today - in Europe all weekend and all next week). Here's the talking points if he throws Talgo back at us. (Devon said we can throw him under the bus btw.) 1) We decided to do the 75/25 on Ormazabal and Talgo because they were both already teed up and didn't think it made sense to split 50/50 on clients that we hadn't originally jointly pitched. 2) Talgo didn't work and we jointly now understand that they wouldn't be an ideal client anyway. 3) We need to be paid for what we are doing on Ormazabal. We'll invoice you from February. 4) We'll split the next client 50/50 instead of 75/25. (I am fine with this. I don't think we are giving much up but it will look like a concession.) And do 50/50 going forward. 5) If he continues to push back we mention that we have not only put a lot of time and effort into our partnership but money too (the Europe trip which we went on under the understanding that at least our $10K a month Ormazabal pmts would cover it.) Don't think this is a hard conversation to have and I am happy to do it or you can. Either way - just let me know. Just want to get it done and move on. Eric D.
