Hunter - looks like I can do this because, amazingly, it is when I'll be in Spain already then. I'm now scheduled to fly out of Barcelona on the 17th, but instead could take the train over to Cordoba in time to participate that afternoon and on the 18th. Who should we be in touch with on arranging this and working out the program details?

Are you coming too? I was thinking of staying the w/e if I'm going to stay for the 18th.

Attached is a flyer detailing a high speed rail conference being held in June in Cordoba, Spain. The sponsors of the Conference, Fundacion Caminos de Hierro, have asked if a member of Amtrak's leadership would be interested in attending the Conference and participating in a panel on high speed rail in the US. As a nonprofit organization, the Foundation would cover all of the relevant expenses for the trip. Through my work with HNTB I offered to informally extend the invitation on to you.
