Dear Jane--


Your e-mail made my weekend! I really appreciate the chance you are giving
me, and I want to reiterate that I am coming to this position with realistic
expectations, a lot of humility, and a desire to help where needed and
support your office and Senator Kaufman however possible.


I called Justin, and went into see him this afternoon to touch base and talk
for a bit. He is a great guy, and I am looking forward to working for him. I
will be starting on May 3rd. Thanks again for giving me a chance and
allowing me this opportunity.
