I don't think they are too involved with Reed's group. Reed's group is mostly focused on legislative and regulatory policy changes as I understand it while Chris' group is mostly focused on educating taft-hartley investors on the benefits of cleantech investments. I am generalizing what they both do but to me working with Chris' group is the ultimate goal and can offer us more bang for the buck as we look to ultimately develop our own investment products. Working with Reed's group is good from an intelligence gathering/networking/biz dev point of view but I am not yet sure how much they can change policy that will directly affect our bottom line. Or not as much as Chris' group can. Neil, would be interested in your take on that as we decide how much time/resources we decide to invest in both (and conferences like the two I emailed around this AM). Eric D. We should look at attending. This is the event where Chris Chafe said they will launch their organization, so we should coordinate with Chris a little maybe to see what they are doing there, but at the very least let's keep in on our respective calendars. http://www.greenjobsconference.org/ -- Eric D.
