CP Parents - This week we have: 1. SATURDAY - Scrimmage against Next Level at 3:30 Tilden Middle School (on Old Georgetown Rd. just past Tuckerman going north). I am not yet sure of which field, but the lower fields are just below the stadium field you see as you park. Please arrive a few minutes early if possible so we can assemble and get organized. We have the field until 5:30, but may end between 5 and 5:30 depending on how it is going. I will remain at the field until 5:30, or until our last player has left. Please bring pinnies and jerseys. This will be a working scrimmage, so play may stop more often than usual for teaching moments. 2. SUNDAY - we play Damascus at 1:00 at Forest Oak field 2 (last week was field 1). 3. LAX SPLASH - I received word that we are first on wait list for this tournament. I am also told by the organizers, that because of MYLA tournaments in Baltimore, they regularly get late cancellations due to schedule conflicts. They also will let us know if a slot opens in the next higher level in our division. So we are not guaranteed a slot, but fairly confident we will get in. Bummer we don't know for sure today, but I will let you know when I hear more. All fees are already covered. 4. BEACH LAX - I have received 11 yeses, 5 nos and 3 of you have yet to respond to my request for availability on Jun 12 and 13 at Ocean City. I know some of you are anxious to make this happen. We need 18 on our roster and so as of today we would need 7 new players (assuming you 3 cannot go!). If any of you know of girls who may be interested or have shown interest, please let me know. As of Monday, we could still register, but need to submit a roster as part of that process. I am happy to go, but need help assembling a team. Registration fee is $600 which we will need to collect.
