On Monday, May 10th at 6PM, NDI will hold its 25th Anniversary
Dinner at the Omni Shoreham Hotel to honor\u2013Prime Minister Morgan
Tsvangirai of Zimbabwe and the Network of Choc Women from Colombia.
Prime Minister Tsvangirai has struggled against tremendous odds for
fundamental human and political rights. The Choc Women have been in
the forefront of promoting participation for marginalized communities.
We will also be joined by guest speakers and long-time NDI supporters,
including former Peruvian President Alejandro Toledo, and former
Northern Ireland Assembly Speaker Lord John Alderdice, who was one of
the signers of the Good Friday Agreement. NDI and its Chairman
Madeleine K. Albright sincerely hope that you will be able to join us
for the 25th Anniversary event.
