Up to you, but you may want to at least consider a flight from Dulles to Chicago Midway on Southwest. You would leave at 9:50am from Dulles and arrive at 10:50am (you could also leave at 9:45 from BWI). You need to be there by 11:30am and the airport is 20 minutes from Midway. Tara said (and she may be overestimating) that it could be between 75 to 90 minutes by car to the airport from O’Hare (although I know you said you have another route to get there). From DCA you would take the 8:36am United Flight I would think which gets you in at 9:45am. If you took the 9:35am it gets you in at 10:45am. Leaving 30 minutes to get your bags (assuming SS would have to do so) means you don’t arrive until 12:15pm at the earliest. Your call – drive to Dulles for a 9:50am flight or drive to DCA for an 8:36am flight. Not sure which is better. All of this said, I could see if they could depart a little later than Noon. Apparently, the pilots told Tara that a Noon departure was ideal. Think about it and let me know. Eric D.
