Will you call Eldie Acheson for Caroline (Johnny’s fiancée) re: the attached? It may be filled already. Eric D. Schwerin Rosemont Seneca Partners, LLC 1010 Wisconsin Ave., NW Suite 705 Washington, DC 20007 (202) 333-1880 eschwerin@rosemontseneca.com <eschwerin@obblaw.com> *P** **Consider the environment before printing this email.*** *From:* Caroline Strickland [mailto:strickland_caroline@yahoo.com] *Sent:* Tuesday, March 09, 2010 8:19 AM *To:* Eric Schwerin *Subject:* Re: hi It would be wonderful if you guys could put in a good word for me - I appreciate it tremendously! I found the job on the Association of Corporate Counsel's website (www.acc.com). It has been posted on that site since 12/23, so they may have already filled the position. The job title is: Associate General Counsel Corporate Affairs, and this is the job description: This position is responsible for providing advice, particularly to the Finance Department, regarding the corporation’s legal rights and obligations relative to a variety of laws and regulations. This position is responsible for drafting, negotiating, interpreting and assisting with resolution of commercial agreements and will work closely with and report to the Managing Deputy General Counsel Corporate Affairs. Demonstrated experience in structuring and negotiating complex commercial transactions with particular knowledge in the area of corporate finance. Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to handle quick turnarounds and work effectively with diverse in-house clients. I think I'm pretty qualified for this job - I spend about 80% of my time structuring business transactions for my companies and negotiating the related contracts. Working with a range of in-house clients (members of our sales team, business consultants, operations, IT, etc.) is something that I have to do on a daily basis - you really need to work in an in-house legal department to develop this particular skill, and I think that I've become really good at it. I would be thrilled to have a job like this that seems similar in many ways to my current job which I like a lot...but not more than John by a long stretch :) The resume and cover letter that I submitted to Amtrak through the ACC website are attached. I really appreciate the help
