Joe-

Attached is a flyer detailing a high speed rail conference being held in June in Cordoba, Spain. The sponsors of the Conference, Fundacion Caminos de Hierro, have asked if a member of Amtrak’s leadership would be interested in attending the Conference and participating in a panel on high speed rail in the US. As a nonprofit organization, the Foundation would cover all of the relevant expenses for the trip. Through my work with HNTB I offered to informally extend the invitation on to you. I know you have a lot on your plate and may not be able to attend, but if someone else in the company could that would be great also. Hope all is well, talk to you soon. Best, Hunter.
