No idea how this landed at Cooper's feet, but apparently they have a clean
tech guy they are bringing into Eudora who has some connections at IBEW.
Cooper says IBEW wants to bid on some work through a DOE program to send
IBEW workers to the Caribbean to work on cleantech projects there. There is
a DOE conference on this in mid-April. I gave Jeff Missy's info for him to
talk to her about this. Cooper said that they are particularly interested
in Haiti. I told him about your conversation with Trumka and Cooper
wondered whether IBEW's interest was related. Anyway, this sounds more
real than some of the other things and more related to what we are trying to
do. He's sending me more info. He may want our help circling back with
IBEW and pulling all these pieces together. They may be looking for a PM
and suggested Estrella may be a good one.
