Great news. The meeting with Iberdrola is set for the 12th at 1pm as it was the only day they were available to meet. Could they possibly meet on the 12th? ----- Original Message ----- From: Rob Walker <[email protected]> To: Pio Mortera Nales; Hunter Biden <[email protected]>; Devon Archer <[email protected]>; Eric Schwerin <[email protected]>; Mike Muldoon <[email protected]> Cc: Lorenzo Roccia; Abel Navarro Homet; Neil Callahan <[email protected]> Sent: Wed Mar 31 20:28:31 2010 Subject: Oregon-Ormazabal Gentlemen – Spoke with Jay Ward, Business Outreach for Sen. Wyden’s office, and Bruce Laird, Clean Tech Recruiting Officer for the State. They will both be at the meeting and prefer the 13th , but will work around our schedule. Wyden’s office is going to explore the federal incentives and Bruce will lay out the state incentives. They’re very excited and will be ready to answer any questions Ormazabal might have. Oregon is a top 10 state in green investment, top 5 in cost of doing business, and they said Ormazabal could expect something in the neighborhood of a 35% tax credit if they plan to open up renewable manufacturing. He really wanted me to stress that his customers are getting paid as opposed to some situations in other states. Let me know when the Ormazabal/Iberdrola meeting is set and I’ll reach back out and schedule something with Jay and Bruce. Thanks.
