We're sorry to have missed you last night but TIC (this is China) and I should have anticipated a canceled dinner on our side would have resulted in a challenger to our hosts' honor. That said, I almost fell asleep at the table and would have rather been with the Friends of NYS. How long are you in town? We have another back to back day but there's a small window from 4:15pm to 6pm (when we start our next dinner) at our Hotel (St Regis). Let me know. Shishi.

By all means bring Jim. There will be mainly existing Chinese businesses who are either already invested in NYS or are looking at it.

The only westerners will mainly be US embassy senior staff (commercial service).

What a miniature world. There's a possibility we may be able to work this out. That said, it will entail us canceling a dinner for a better offer (yours); though its been done before. In a pinch, would we be able to bring our friend, Jim Gordon, who flew us over on his plane for our meetings? Might be just too awkward leaving him to fend for himself. If that's too much, not to worry. Hunter and I will coordinate at breakfast and we'll email you.
