It was great talking with you the other day, and I appreciate your
support. I write to check on whether you have learned anything from Ron
(or anyone else) worth reporting. As I sure I mentioned, I have heard
from various sources that I am being very seriously considered by the
White House. If things don't go my way this time around, I will be up
there again. Taking the long or short view, I would be delighted to
talk with Ron at some point, if that were possible, so that he could put
a face with the name. In this long process, I am grateful for the help
