I agree with you - that's the feedback I wanted. I just also don't think the two are mutually exclusive. A good number of people I have talked to have said to me they'll come to the event this week but would like to host an event as well. I also don't believe we'll get Beau to do as many events as we'll have people to do them. My thinking is we conservatively do about $200k in DC. If we can do $50k through this event and just general fundraising in the next month that leaves six $25K events to get to $200K. I can think of six $25K events easily. And I think I am being conservative on the $200K. I get your point - I'll take a good look at the list and make sure we aren't sacrificing an event by inviting someone to this event. Also though one thing I definitely know - people want to be in on the first event and they will be energized to do more if they feel included. Eric D.
