Not sure if you're ready? We put together a list of questions to consider when choosing the right program for you! "I remember (15 years ago!) when I signed up for my yoga teacher training. I had just moved to DC, knew absolutely no one and was super nervous. I was not sure if I was good enough at yoga - let's just say crow pose was not my friend. I was not sure if I would feel out of place or if it was a wise investment. And, I was not even sure I wanted to teach - let alone take the risk of standing in the front of a room guiding a class! I was hesitant to say the least." >>read more Apply To Flow's Teacher Training You've probably heard that Jen's back in the Mysore room next week but did you also know she is offering Ashtanga Essentials on Sunday? So many of you have been asking... What is all the buzz about Mysore about? Do you have to wake up at 5am (no!!)? What's the difference between Mysore & Ashtanga? What no music? Do I have to memorize the whole thing? Can I still go to my other favorite classes? If any of this has piqued your interest and you're curious about the growing trend to practice yoga "mysore style" this workshop is for you. You'll get a great practice, your questions answered and it just may be inspired you to try something new this Spring! Artist in Residence At Flow w/ Althea Rae Begins Wednesday March 13th -16th in our P Street Lounge Celebrating Women's History Month, Flow Yoga Center has invited women artist Althea Rao to activate our space with her participatory art installation "Pillar of Salt". The artist has created a 5-minute self-guided mindfulness practice to help you better understand the concept of gender equality and how you as an individual can help. The future of gender equality involves everyone and your individual choice will make a difference. We encourage you to spend a couple of minutes to participate in the artwork after your class.
