I ran for Congress to help solve our country’s most pressing problems and I am proud to say in the first two months, I’ve been able to deliver on that promise. I helped pass a bill requiring universal background checks on most firearms purchases, which will keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t own them. I also delivered on the promise of cleaning up corruption in Washington, by co-sponsoring the "For the People" Act.
